Its primary goal is to restore natural fertility and improve the overall health of infertile couples.
The program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to work independently within their respective professional fields. Physicians receive comprehensive clinical training covering all aspects of the curriculum. Biologists and biotechnologists receive specialized instruction in diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures. Psychologists focus on the psychological support and counseling of infertile couples, while bioethics professionals acquire a solid understanding of the clinical management of infertility alongside the ethical principles, values, and implications involved, enabling them to provide bioethical consultation in reproductive medicine.
Target Audience and Career Opportunities
The REFINE Master’s Program prepares healthcare and academic professionals—including physicians, biologists, biotechnologists, psychologists, and bioethicists—with advanced expertise in reproductive medicine from clinical, diagnostic, biological, psychological, and bioethical perspectives. Particular emphasis is placed on the diagnostic and therapeutic pathway for couple infertility, with the aim of restoring natural fertility through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates the medical specialties of endocrinology, urology, and gynecology, the biological sciences, and the humanities, including psychology and philosophy.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will be qualified to work in laboratory, clinical, healthcare, psychological counseling, clinical bioethics, and research settings within both public and private institutions specializing in Reproductive Medicine, Gynecology, Andrology, and Endocrinology.
