Our training responds to the need for acquiring advanced knowledge in Bioethics in order to face and address complex bioethical dilemmas in a scientific, rigorous, and systematic way. It offers an interdisciplinary perspective —biomedical, philosophical and legal— focused on the respect and protection of human life and dignity, from the beginning of existence to natural death.

Courses in English

International High-level training course in MR.REP – Medical and bioethical issues in “Reparative Medicine for Male Reproductive Health” – III Edition

The Course is set up jointly with Fertílitas, Spain’s leading NaProTechnology clinic and the International Chair of Bioethics Jérôme Lejeune.
It is delivered entirely in English and is addressed to Medical Doctors (in particular to gynecologists, urologists, endocrinologists, andrologists) who wants to be trained in the diagnosis and treatment of male factor infertility, aimed at the restoration of natural fertility. The 2026 edition will bealso open to professionals from the fields of Biotechnology, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Health Sciences, Humanities (including Philosophy, Bioethics, Psychology) and Social Sciences (Law).
The topics covered will be addressed from a diagnostic, therapeutic and follow-up point of view. The final aim of the course is the acquisition of autonomous management skills with specific skills dedicated to each professional figure.

Bioethics Training for Schools

Bioethics training for teachers, students, and families in educational institutions.
It addresses the most current topics in Bioethics from a personalist perspective with ontological foundations, focusing on the unconditional respect for the value and dignity of the human person, in line with the teachings of Professor Dr. Jérôme Lejeune.

Diploma Experto en Bioética

Título propio especializado, que ofrece una formación en Bioética con un enfoque interdisciplinar. Proporciona a los estudiantes los conocimientos científicos, filosóficos y legales necesarios para analizar los problemas de Bioética desde la perspectiva de la Bioética Personalista, que respeta la dignidad de la persona, su integridad y libertad, desde su concepción hasta su muerte natural.

Máster Universitario en Bioética

Ofrecido en colaboración con la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, los estudiantes adquirirán conocimientos avanzados en Bioética para poder afrontar y dar solución a los complejos dilemas bioéticos de manera científica, rigurosa y sistemática, desde una perspectiva interdisciplinar — biomédica, filosófica y legal — con un enfoque en la protección de la vida y la dignidad de la persona, desde el comienzo de su existencia hasta su muerte natural. Impartido en español, ofrece un nivel de estudios oficiales dentro del marco europeo, con acceso a continuar un doctorado en Europa. Actualmente se ofrece también en francés y pronto en inglés e italiano.

Master 2 de Bioéthique

Dispensé en collaboration avec l’Université Francisco de Vitoria.

Les étudiants acquerront des connaissances avancées en bioéthique afin de pouvoir affronter et résoudre les dilemmes bioéthiques complexes de manière scientifique, rigoureuse et systématique, dans une perspective interdisciplinaire — biomédicale, philosophique et juridique — avec un accent mis sur la protection de la vie et de la dignité de la personne, depuis le commencement de son existence jusqu’à sa mort naturelle.

Il offre un niveau d’études officielles dans le cadre européen, avec la possibilité de poursuivre un doctorat en Europe.

Master-Class Science et Éthique Jérôme Lejeune

Il s’agit d’un programme de formation destiné aux experts de haut niveau. L’enseignement dispensé se situe à l’intersection de différents domaines du savoir philosophique, médical et juridique, tant dans leurs aspects théoriques que pratiques.

Ce programme permet aux étudiants de fonder leur réflexion sur des concepts anthropologiques essentiels, tels que la dignité humaine, l’être humain et la personne, l’acte moral et les principes de la bioéthique. Il leur offre également l’opportunité de réfléchir aux découvertes scientifiques les plus récentes à la lumière de l’éthique biomédicale.

Depuis 2017, la Master-Class forme chaque année plus de 100 élèves, consolidant ainsi un réseau d’Alumni solide et dynamique.

Actuellement, l’édition 2025-2026 est en cours.

Led by Dr. Elena Postigo Solana, the International Chair of Bioethics Jérôme Lejeune has established itself as an international benchmark in the field of Bioethics.

Inspired by the legacy of Prof. Jérôme Lejeune, it combines medical expertise with ethical reflection to address today’s bioethical challenges. Its work is grounded in three core pillars: education, research, and outreach in Bioethics—always guided by a realistic perspective and a deep respect for the dignity of every human life.

Founded in 2009 by Dr. Mónica López Barahona within the Centro de Estudios Biosanitarios, the Chair became part of the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation in 2015.
